World Wide Knit & Crochet in Public Day!

Sunday, June 9, 2013 is our World Wide Knit & Crochet in Public Day! We will be meeting at Breidert Green across Kansas Street near the shop from 9 am until 3 pm. Please bring a chair or blanket and your project(s) of choice and join us on Breidert Green. Two canopies will be provided but if there is a larger crowd, there may not be a lot of room in the shade. Bring sun screen. The shop will be open for extended hours with specials and there are plenty of places to get food or drink. We will have entertainment on the main stage from 11-1 and, as always, the farmer's market will be available to wander through.  We will have all full price items (except Addi and glass needles) in the store for 25% off*.  The clearance rack is Buy Two, Get One Free.  Stop in to take advantage of the savings!

2014 Knot Just Knitting Retreat

You asked for it, you got it!  The 2014 retreat is now in the planning phase.  The cost will be $200 per person.  We should hopefully have more information by the end of July for signing up.  There will be more prizes, more gifts, new classes and even weekend projects to work on.  Check your emails for the newsletter at that time to find out more.

Refer-A-Friend

We will be having a Refer a Friend program coming soon.  It will be a way for you to get discounts and us to get new customers!  More information will be coming soon.

Building Block Afghan Contest

The Building Blocks Afghan contest is coming close to the end!  For those of you who have purchased and completed the Building Blocks Afghans, stop in during the week of August 18th through August 24th with your completed afghan (or picture of your completed afghan if you gave it away as a gift) and receive a ticket to be entered into the raffle to try to win half your purchase back ($75) in a gift certificate to the store.  If you completed two afghans, you will get TWO tickets. You will also receive a discount coupon for 20% off for next year's contest and those of you who didn't participate in the afghan project but want to get in on the next contest will receive a coupon for 10% off of the purchase of next year's contest of a top down sweater from C2Knits project supplies (yarn and pattern).  Same rules, in August of 2014, you come in with your finished item and get a ticket to be in the raffle for half of the cost of your project back in a gift certificate to the store.
